Yes. I do, indeed, heart concerts. I haven't been to a lot of them (because, honestly, who the f*ck can pay about 40 dollars to go to one of them every month? I mean, I'm not a millionaire !!!), but I love the energy and the good vibes that I feel when I go to one. It's like you and everybody else are one and you are all sharing the same feeling, kinda similar to how I feel about the world cup. When you are in a concert, there are not one person that can't feel the same energy or vibe that you feel, as part of that is because of the performer.
I love performers. They are the whole reason why we feel the way we do. I like actors, models, but mostly important, I love musicians. When you hear a song, you are filled with whatever feeling the writer/singer wanted you to feel, and you can't change that. You connect with the singer, because you realize that you are not alone, and there is somebody else who feels your pain and who understands you and what you are going through. Songs are like a comfort zone, and a way of you to escape reality for a second and focus on you and your emotions. And then, when you go to a concert and see that there are millions of other people feeling exactly the same way as you feel, you can't happen but smile.
Concerts are to me a synonym of smiles and happiness. Because even though a song might make you cry, you can't help but smile, because you finally feel understood, or because the song might bring you back memories from an unforgettable summer/trip/whatever.
So that's that. I know that the post seems unbelievably stupid and dumb and I'm not even sure if everything I wrote makes sense, but I just wanted to express how I feel about seeing my favorite band/singer sing to me my favorite songs (songs that make me cry, songs that make me smile,...).
Oh, and since we're talking about concerts, I just wanted to say that Green Day is awesome and their concert is definitely one of the best ones I've ever been to. And to everybody who lives in Brazil and is reading this... Well, you should all go, because I'm telling you now: it is a bazillion times worth it.
