Dear Academy Awards,How could you ever forget to include the woman who was an icon of the 1970s and 1980s on your little memorial slideshow? Yeah, we get it. The King of Pop's death was the biggest one in 2009; however, another great and talented person died on that same day. Isn't it bad enough that she died on the same day as Michael Jackson, her name being barely mentioned at all on that fatal day? Did she really deserve to be forgotten? Farrah Fawcett was so much more than an angel on the hit shot "Charlie's Angel" in 1976. She was a sexy symbol. She made history. She battled cancer from 2006 to her last breath. She was an amazing actress, and I'm sure that she was also an amazing mom and amazing wife. As much as I like Michael Jackson, he is not an actor. So why, oh why, did he have to be in the memorial slideshow?
What the fuck is wrong with you guys this year? Get your shit straight. Next year, please don't forget to include the names of people IN THE MOVIE BUSINESS that made history on your slideshow. Stop fucking everything up!
Sincerely,
me.
