Have you ever watched something and then, after the show/movie is over, try to imitate your favorite character? Well, yeah. I have. As a matter of fact, I do that all the time ever since I was little girl
Today I went to the movies with my boyfriend to watch Kick-Ass, 'cause it looked pretty funny and cute. Well, first of all: there is NOTHING cute about that movie. The movie is extremely bloody and violent, and for once I can actually say that loved it. I loved all the cuts, the blood, the deaths, but most important, I loved Hit-Girl.
Hit-Girl is nothing like a sweet 11 year old. No, that little bitch kills people and laughs. That little person is, in fact, the most bad-ass person in the movie industry in DECADES. And, as I said before, I can help but want to be a little more like her. Not in the whole "oh look at me. I'm 11 and I know how to use a gun and kill the bad guys." No. I wanna be more like her in the sense that she is seriously awesome. She knows what she wants and she goes for it. She is NOT afraid to fall. She is brave and witty and knows how to stand up for herself. That is, in my opinion, what a role model should look like. Sure, she swears a lot, but that just makes her even more realistic and cool. Because, if we are being honest here, what 11 year old don't swear nowadays?
P.S.: The rest of the movie was okay. Kick-Ass is a geek, and I cried. Go watch the movie to find out why Hit-Girl is such a bad-ass. It's worth it!
