(Yes, that's a very bad picture of me on my graduation. And yes, I do realize that I graduated 3 months ago, but as they always say: Better late than never, right?)
Time passes. It seems like it was yesterday that I was walking down the halls heading to my first class ever in an American school. I can still remember how nervous I was, looking shyly to the sides. Class had just started and as I sat down, I realized how different my life was going to be from then on. Well, 4 years passed and as I put my cap and gown on this fine Friday afternoon, I can't seem to get used to the idea that high school is over.
I went to a lot of schools in Brazil, never staying more than 2 years in them, so it does mean a lot to me that I was able to stay at one place for 4 years. I got used to the faces of my peers, and the voice of my teachers. I got used to meeting up with my friends everyday for lunch, and bugging my teachers for help. I even got used to eating the shitty cafeteria food that I usually ate for lunch.
Yeah.. things are about to get real from now on. Now, it's time to put our big girl's and guy's shoes and get out of here. All I can say is: Thank you for the amazing four years, BHS.
Now, let's make some history :)
